Elkhart County's Health Education Division offers a number of programs throughout the year. These programs are those which we receive regular requests to provide. The Health Education Division may also create new programming as a result of a request or a need recognized by our community. Interested parties may ask for specific programming on other subject matter by contacting the Health Education Division.
The Health Education Division accepts requests for programming from all community members including business and industry. We shall try and honor all requests given staff availability and subject matter. Requests should be submitted as soon as possible in order to properly schedule and avoid conflicts.
The Health Education Division does not charge for services except where it is noted in the program description. Donations are accepted in order to continue to provide services.
School programming is vital to our community’s health, and the Health Education Division provides this the entire year. We take this programming to elementary, middle, and high school classrooms during the school year. During the summer, we provide programming to preschools, boys' and girls' clubs, and other organizations as well. To provide this service most efficiently, we have separated the programming from the health fairs. The buttons below detail the programs we offer and registration forms to fill out and return.
Health fairs are offered when schools would like to have a number of programs presented to a larger group in a short period of time. A number of programs are generally selected and students rotate thru stations to gain exposure on a number of topics. Please click the button for the Health Fair Request Form.
