Join Us For Mental Health First Aid Training

The Elkhart County Health Department is providing a "blended" course. A 2-hour self-paced training is required before the in-person class. You will receive all of the materials and links. Upon completing this training, you will attain a Certification in Mental Health First Aid.
You will learn:
- The prevalence of mental illness in the U.S. and the emotional and economic cost.
- The potential warning signs and risk factors for mental health challenges and crisis.
- A 5-step action plan to help an individual in crisis connect to professional care.
- Resources available to help someone with a mental health problem.
