Environmental Health Services maintains an emergency response team that is on call 24/7 and responds to emergencies that may involve hazardous and chemical spills including transportation accidents, commercial/industrial facility fires and restaurant fires. Our emergency response team can only be activated through the Emergency 911 system.
The Emergency Response Team is not considered a first responder and we do not provide supplies to capture or clean up hazardous and/or chemical spills. However, we can supply information for the responsible party of the spill advising them of the appropriate agencies to inform of the spill and what documentation is required. We will also provide a list of Spill Clean up Contractors to the responsible party.
For more information on Environmental Health Services' Emergency Response Team, feel free to contact us Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., 5 p.m. on Mondays.
